Educational Visits Advice and Guidance

Entrust’s Educational Visits Advice and Guidance Service supports schools, academies and Multi-Academy Trusts to deliver high-quality and safe Outdoor Education using the Evolve visit approval system, that allows all visits to be formally recorded and validated to ensure best practice is being followed.

Entrust has adopted the National Guidance on school visits from the Outdoor Educational Advisers’ Panel (OEAP) and we will help you to access and follow this guidance.

This package includes:

• An Evolve account specific for your setting
• Use of Evolve as a planning, approval and audit tool for all educational visits
• Access to a dedicated educational visits advisor
• Regular and up-to-date OEAP guidance and best practice
• Opportunities for staff training and CPD to enhance the school educational visits provision
• Ongoing advice and guidance

The Educational Visits Advice & Guidance annual package is free to Staffordshire schools that book a residential stay of at least three days (two nights) at any of our Entrust outdoors centres.

Educational visits coordinator (EVC) training

DfE and Entrust guidance states all schools should have a trained educational visits coordinator who can ensure learning outside the classroom is high-quality, effective and safe for students and staff.

The Entrust educational visits advisor provides EVC training courses along with revalidation courses for those EVCs who have completed a full course in the last three years. For more information or to book please visit Entrust Education

Visit leader training

Entrust also provides visit leader training for staff who may lead or assist with leading educational visits. This can be a full visit leader training course or an inset session bespoke to your school. If you would like to discuss visit leader training, please get in touch.
