How can you and your school celebrate National Storytelling Week

National storytelling week is a chance to promote and encourage storytelling in your classroom and takes place from the 30th January- 6th February.

We have some great training courses that can help you inspire the readers and storytellers of tomorrow.

Teaching Phonics - Preparing to Read in Nursery Classes and Preschools

Phonics is a key part of teaching children how to read and write. Our Teaching Phonics training will help improve your knowledge and understanding of teaching phonics and preparing nursery and preschool age children to read.

From this session, you will be able to create an environment and develop activities and approaches that will encourage a love of stories, books and a desire to read.

Reading for All

Building on existing phonics teaching and learning, this course will reignite a love of reading across EYFS and Year One. Our Reading for All course will ensure that adults and children are able to maximise reading opportunities across the school day.
