Do I need to prepare for attending?

In advance of the event, we suggest you go to the event portal to familiarise yourself with the event platform. Whilst there, we would recommend that you add sessions you plan to attend to your calendar by clicking on the calendar icon next to each session. This will ensure you receive notifications before each of the sessions starts and you will not miss it.

What will I find on the event platform?

Reception: Like any event you will arrive at the reception area. You will be greeted with a welcome message providing a description of the event you are attending and access to all the below areas for the event.

Stages: There will be three stages where the sessions will take place throughout the event. All Keynote sessions will take place on Stage One.

Where do I go to attend?

FYI: The event is hosted on Hopin, an online event platform. 

If you know your login information, you can head here and sign in.

Once logged in, navigate here and you will see a direct link to the event you are attending. Your Home page contains all the events you have registered for. You can click on the event to get in once it's time.

Does the event last all day?

No. Firstly, the event starts at 09.30am and finishes at 3.45pm. Also, the event considers people’s wellbeing and provides a short break after every session, allowing for a longer break during the middle of day around lunch time.

Can I access the recordings after the event has ended?

Yes. As an attendee you can access the event remotely from your mobile device (Android via Google Chrome and iOS, iPadOS – Apple via Safari). However, speakers are not advised to present from a mobile device.

Note: There is no dedicated app for desktops or mobiles on the Stores, no downloads are required

How do I know when a session begins?

To be notified of a session starting you need to add the sessions you want to attend by going to the Schedule page and clicking on the calendar icon next to the session to add it to your calendar. The platform will also highlight live sessions if you want to just jump on.

What if a session is stopped due to technical issues?

Should a session encounter technical/network issues with a speaker dropping off-line and we are unable to resolve the issue quickly, the session will end and be recorded at a different time and made available following the event. This will ensure the content for the session is captured and shared as planned.
